What are people's top 10 Sith and Jedi in terms of overall combative ability? NOT personal opinion of the characters themselves.

Jake is the only one allowed to hold that opinion. You have provided no evidence for Dooku being superior to Vader, at this point you are just another loudmouth following me around threads like Caedus brothers.

Bro, I'm just trying to have a legitimate discussion with you. You should know by now that I'm open to changing my mind when presented with good evidence. And I haven't provided any evidence for Dooku because I haven't been asked to.

I'm more interested in how Plagueis is sub Maul honestly. I understand he grows from TPM, but I'm not convinced it places him above Plagueis at all.

My personal Sith list is something like this:

1. Sidious
2. Plagueis
3. Dooku
4. Tenebrous
5. Malak / SIth Revan
6. Sith Revan / Malak
7. Exar Kun
8. Vader
9. Jerec (not a Sith, but he knows enough of the Sith to know the ancient language, I consider him one)
9. Maul
10. ???

It all depends tbh. But Maul's Hypori feat (as retarded as it is) when he was only 17 against practically TPM sheev, and then he has TCW Growth and is able to actually somewhat contend with sheev (even if sheev was toying) is more impressive than anything Plaguies has really done. It all depends really on how you look at it. On the one hand we have Plaguies in terms of overall combative viability is superior imo. but since this is a force list I think Maul is slightly ahead of him tbh.

Caedus had a permanent growth in his connection to the Force due to achieving a greater Oneness with the Force than anyone prior. His power was growing daily to the point that only Luke would be able to stop him. In a fair fight he stomps Jaina. So yeah, he makes my top ten.

Vader shitstomps Caedus bud

He really doesn't, like not even at all. It's made very clear that Caedus is growing so powerful that the only one who will soon stand a chance is Luke. His Force connevtion getting that Oneness boost is by itself more impressive an indicator to me than anything Vader got given in Legends after Mustafar.

Well I want to stress that though I disagree, I do respect your opinion. However, as an Anakin fan you surely have to have scoured sources with Darth Vader correct? Where do you place him? Obviously below Kun, but I'm more interested if you need educating on the Ben fight and Vader's growth.

I'm probably more well-versed on Vader than anyone else on the forum, to be honest. I've actually read and played everything he's in. That being said, I have Vader above Maul and Dooku, but beneath EoROTS Kenobi. He obviously is above Ben on the Death Star.

A much more compelling answer than I expected tbh. People are putting him Bane level now, was curious if you were in that camp. I am curious though, just to play devil's advocate what has you placing Vader above Ben? I think I agree, but I think it's fairly close tbh.

There are no less than 8 sources that place Anakin Skywalker above suited Darth Vader. Most of them are more recent than the few claiming the opposite, and a few are of a higher canonicity than any that claim suit Vader>Jedi Skywalker. Suit Vader does not scale off his pre-suit counterpart.

Because of this, we have to judge and scale suit Vader on his own merits. He does not benefit from Knightfall Vader's > Yoda and Sidious placement. And in this regard he falls short compared to those on my list. He'd probably make an appearance in the top 15, but he is not on the same level as Dooku or Maul.
